Christmas Eve Tea Time

Hello everyone,
This post has a story. Last Christmas I took photos of this post and
photography was so awful I couldn't publish them.
So this week I photographed it again. I added the cupcake
Christmas trees and I love the accents of red and green on the table.
The Christmas tree plates are from Walmart.
The Better Homes and Garden
Heritage Collection.
I sit at this window in the morning for coffee.  I put up the curtains when
I photograph this tea table. The curtains give the table a softer background.
A World Market special item.  Cupcake Baking and Decor Kit.
Other Great Ideas:
Silicon flowerpots are also perfect for baking brownies and serving sweet
treats such as crispy rice treats, candy, trail mix and ice cream!
The most enjoyment I receive from blogging is the great comments I receive.
And the other is playing with my camera.
As you may know from other posts, I have a generous SIL.
My Sister-in-Law was the flower girl in my wedding  56 years ago.
While she was on vacation this summer in Florance Oregon she picked up a
little silver plated sugar, creamer, and tray. Her hubby glued the lid on the sugar bowl,
and she tied them together to make the cutest door hanger.
I wanted to hang it over my tea table until the holiday season ends.
And then I will hang it on my back door.
I have plaid pillows on my chairs during the holiday season.
The Christmas Trees are foam cones and some leftover burlap fringe trim wrapped
around the forms with leftover ornaments from a couple of years ago.

The Red Cardinal bird is my favorite bird of all time. I have never
seen one in person because I live in California. SOMEDAY I hope
to see one up close in a tree. I picked some Rosemary to add to the
red and white twine. And I have my beautiful green depression
glass tea cups on the table for tea.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

The dinner plates are Ralph Lauren and Affection is the silverplated flatwear.

Charming after dinner drink glasses were my mama's Christmas glasses.
Thank you mama.
A mosaic to save.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Joyously,
Betty
