Brioche Loaves

 Hello everyone,
I have a new hobby lately. I am planning a trip
to Paris, next month and I have been studying
the French language and learning about French cooking.
I love bread...And I am sure you'll agree that Brioche is pretty popular in
France. I decided to bake two loaves from BAREFOOT IN PARIS
Cookbook. I have made bread for years, and the recipe
directions were clear, and the Brioche was delicious.
Yes, the bread is all gone. Sorry!

I am excited to taste the Brioche in Paris. Since I made
this bread, I have found two other recipes of Brioche
I would like to try. I do love the egg wash on the top
of the loaves. The bread glistens in the photos.

I sliced the bread thin and made grilled swiss cheese
sandwiches accompanied with lobster bisque soup and
tossed a green salad.
Sunday night is soup and sandwich night.
Life gets busy with family and an ailing husband.
I have invited my granddaughters and daughter to
travel with me since I will be having my 77th birthday
next month. I know we will be experiencing new food
and new sights.
 And making memories.
Thank you for visiting
and I will be back soon
with a Tea Time Tablescape.
Joyously,
Betty

  1. The brioche looks wonderful, Betty and I'm sure you'll find plenty to choose from in Paris during your trip. The Barefoot Contessa is one of my favourite TV programmes and I think I have almost all of her books. Haven't tried the brioche yet though.
Have a wonderful time and Happy Birthday in advance from me!
    Happy Mosaic Monday.

  8. I know that you'll have a marvelous time in Paris...vraiment merveilleuse!! I haven't ever made brioche, but I love it. Several bakeries here in town make it, so I am able to just pick it up when I feel the need for strong coffee and brioche, butter and jam. Mmmmm.

  24. A pre-treatment is required for hazardous compounds such as mercury and lead, and the producer is liable for disposal in treatment, storage, and disposal facility.
Producers must be concerned with collecting E-waste like electrical and electronic equipment from previously placed on the market through a dealer, a collection center, a Producers' Responsibility Organization, buy-back arrangements, an exchange scheme, or a deposit-refund system in the Extended Producers Responsibility plan.
Producers must organize an awareness program and create awareness through media, advertisement, publication, poster, or other means of communication & product user documentation accompanying the equipment.
    Why is EPR certificate required
Producers must provide contact details such as an address, email id, toll-free telephone number, or helpline number to consumers or bulk consumers through their website.
What are the benefits of EPR authorization in E-waste licensing
Extended producer responsibility is often discussed as a technique for countering the planned obsolescence since it financially encourages manufacturers to design for recycling and make items last longer. In addition to combatting planned obsolescence, governments may be relieved of the financial strain of paying for and handling trash by moving some of the cost burdens to the manufacturer. One of the advantages of EPR is that it grows more effective since compulsion is applied to countries that export E-waste. E-waste regulation forces infrastructure to either deal with the garbage or adapt new ways for manufacturers to make goods. As more countries adopt these policies, it becomes increasingly more complicated for others to overlook the challenges. Garbage was built up at ports after China banned importing E-waste from the United States; for example- the lack of infrastructure around recycling E-waste in the United States has been possible due to the ability to export and the neglect of producers. The burden from this growing e-waste dump is forcing countries to create their infrastructure and compelling local and federal governments to impose more controls on businesses.
