Hello everyone,
How does your garden grow in July?
My garden is burning up. Water, water, water.
I have missed blogging so much these past few weeks, but I'm getting back in the swing of things. The roses are blooming , but they are burned to a crisp by late afternoon. The temperatures are going to be creeping up into the triple digits this weekend. Forecast is 110 degrees during the day and 90 all night long.
Hope you have a cool and restful weekend.

Your flowers are lovely, Betty. Ick...and I thought we had a it hot down here in SE Texas where the humidity is like a sauna (really) and the temps are 90s to 100s.
ReplyDeleteWith some love and prayers, your garden should be fine. I hope so because it truly is a pretty one.
Blessings for your garden,
Marianne
Hi Betty, your garden is still looking lush despite the heat. Just keep that sprinkler on.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week.
Your garden is beautiful and I love your roses. So sorry that you are having such HOT weather. I was feeling a little sorry for my self since we have been having humidity and in So CA it normally is a dry heat. I will be following your blog. Stop by and see my roses.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday.
Mary
All of your flowers are beautiful Betty! Sorry to hear the heat is stressing them, gotta enjoy 'em while we can and the pictures sure help! Happy Sunday:@)
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are looking wonderful...despite the extremely high temps.
ReplyDeleteGood job!
Oh Betty hon...you sure gave a Green thumb because all your flowers are gorgeous! The high temps don't help any, though, hope they survive, por darlings. Beautiful images too! Thank you for coming my friend and for the sweet and kind comments. Big hugs,

Those are some hot temperatures, Betty. But your flowers are gorgeous, so colorful and bright. Stay cool and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYowzer! That is hot. It cooled way down for us and I am so grateful. Hope that a moderating weather system is headed your way. Despite the temps, your flowers look amazing and healthy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses and a gorgeous mosaic. What a shame that they should suffer so in the heat.
ReplyDeleteHappy MM.
Your plants are looking lovely despite the heat. Valerie
ReplyDeleteHow peaceful and beautiful. As a novice gardener, I can only imagine the hours and years that have gone into your garden. Just today I bought a cart-full of Round-Up at K-Mart--and a scary looking weed tool. We're watering the hill garden twice daily, and the flowers look like they've been deep fried in bacon fat. I will look forward to more of your posts!!
