Hello everyone,
Last Saturday I attended a Holiday Tea to raise
money for a high school scholarship fund.
A person buys a table, develops a theme and
invites friends and or family to join them for tea.
I want to share some of the beautiful table settings
I viewed. The photos were taken with my

Christmas Day Tea Time

Hello everyone,

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and thank you for your 

kindness and support for the past six years. On Christmas Day 2009,
I pushed the publish button for the first time to start my blog journey.

I always want to share more holiday decorations,
but time and my energy seem to run out by Christmas eve.
Last night my sweetheart and I enjoyed a wonderful
family dinner and a beautiful church service.

I have a poinsettia tea cup, poinsettia napkin ring and a

flickering candle in a wicker tray. Under the candle is a joyous
and whimsical holiday novel 'Angels at the Table'
by Debbie Macomber. 

Tea cup and saucer is  'DUCHESS' Bone China~Made in England.

Santa's Tablescape

Hello everyone,

Wow, this month is flying by. My Cozy Corner is decorated and I will

share more in a couple of days. I wanted to share the small Santas I bought at 

our bazaar.  I showed you some of the Santas for sale Here.
 I set a festive table for Sweetheart and I to enjoy a holiday breakfast in the morning.

I found these Spode 'Woodland' plates at Tuesday morning a couple of years ago. I wanted to use them last year,
but time just slipped away. The dishes are surrounded by keepsakes and my favorite colors.

The Santas are so cute. 

The crystal glasses were part of a lovely wedding gift 55 years ago. 

I love the plaid napkins and sparkly napkin rings.
The plaid place mats add a Scottish feel to the table...

My treasured RL dinner plates were a gift for my 50th Wedding Anniversary(2010). 

The silverware is affection a gift from my daughter.
I love the name of this silverware.
So appropriate for this holiday season.

A Little Bit of Christmas

Hello everyone,

It's time for a Little Bit of Christmas.  When we were visiting Old Quebec City Canada on our vacation, I found this precious lamb with a tartan scarf in a boutique while I was shopping in the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. I knew it was going to be part of my holiday decoration on my Tea Table in the dining room by a sunny window.

I am starting a new board on my pinterest with my tea cup collection. Hopefully by this time next year I will have my complete collection displayed. 

I have been waiting for the perfect time to show you my 

Ellgreave Genuine Ironstone tea pot from the thrift store.

This vignette seemed to be the right setting. 

Christmas Cactus are so delicate.

Crackers*Crackers

Hello everyone,

It just wouldn't be Christmas without the traditional "Old English Crackers" Christmas Day brings lots of memories. I loved  Christmas as a child and now as a mature women with maybe a decade of Christmases left I am so grateful for being able to share a part of my life with family and friends with this blog. 

Christmas Day 2009  I pushed the Publish button for the first time and I haven't looked back. I noticed I'm not posting as much as when I first started, but I'm a little more tired. I wanted to post more Christmas, but I ran out of time. (Candy Crush) 

I need to take a photo of my living room tree and the tea table in the dining room. Oh, Well.

My Nut Cracker collection is standing on the buffet for a group photo. The mouse is a new one. Sweetheart found him at a yard sale.  He is perfect for the "Nutcracker Suite" don't you think?

More nut crackers...I love to crack nuts and have a couple of pounds of cracked nut in the freezer for baking. Especially when someone gives them to us for free.

This is my Jingle Bell Christmas in the dining room. I love the plaid ribbon and the bells mixed with red ornaments.

It wouldn't be Christmas without forced Paperwhites growing in the dining room.
