Gingerbread House~Fairmont Hotel

Hello everyone,
Who doesn't love gingerbread? I love gingerbread,
especially when it is made into a Gingerbread House.
On my recent trip to San Francisco in December 2017
The beautiful lobby of the Fairmont Hotel is transformed at Christmas time,
with the most beautiful Gingerbread House covering the entrance of the dining room.

This experience has been on my bucket list for years.
The Gingerbread House is just amazing.
I am standing in front of the small tea room.
This room is reserved private dining for 12 persons.

Fairytale: The house has two floors, is 23 feet wide, 22 feet high and is stuck together entirely with icing. Visitors can wander through the ground floor level and into the hotel restaurant

On the balcony of the Gingerbread House.
Santa's workshop
Christmas Carolers on the second-floor balcony.
The entrance of the Gingerbread House.
I love the details.
The train circles the Gingerbread House.
We made memories on this trip. There are so many great treasures in
the City of San Francisco.  Visiting at Christmas time is a bonus.
Thanks for visiting,
Joyously,
Betty

  1. This is wonderful. I had no idea it was real gingerbread until I read it in your post. What a fun way to spend a day or two.

  2. I go up to SFO every Christmas to be with my son and I didn't realize that this was there. You can bet next year I will be going down there to see that. I love the Fairmont.

    Have a great week.
