Hello Everyone,
I would like you to meet 'The Three Ladies Go Traveling'. We are on our way from London to Glasgow on Virgin Atlantic Train riding First Class. Remember I mentioned the table with a lamp on it. Oh my gosh. It was a wonderful 51/2 hour train ride. We had a morning snack, then lunch and afternoon tea.

And when we arrived at Glasgow Central Train Station I was in awe of how different Scotland is from England. I fell in love with Scotland instantly!!!!

After having a cup of tea we started out to see the sights.
Only one evening in Glasgow is not enough, but we did have a grand time.
Only one evening in Glasgow is not enough, but we did have a grand time.
As I walked down Argyle Street from the hotel to 'Buchanan Street' and 'The Style Mile' I admired the beautiful architecture of the city. I Think it's Late Victorian.
I saw some interesting things!
How about this? I think they're Scottish!! They're in Scotland.
Very Interesting!
As I looked up the street with all the high end shops I saw the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in the distance.
Statue of 'Donald Dewar'
This photo is looking down the street. Yes, I did climb this hill!!!
And many more just like this one before the trip was over.
The next morning I had a traditional Scottish breakfast.
Broiled tomato, mushrooms, basted egg, potatoes, haggis and blood sausage.
After breakfast we joined the rest of the tour group and departed from Glasgow around 7:30a.m. to take the coach to Oban, Scotland.

How fun. Sounds like a wonderful adventure. I've never had Haggis and blood sausage before and was going to ask you how they tasted. But since you said "First time and Only time"...never mind. I think I got the idea! LOL...hey, but at least you get to try them! :) Take care and thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos.
