Hello Everyone,
It's Party Time with Cupcake Sunday
At My Cozy Corner
The cousins are coming and it's going to be a party. I baked 24 cupcakes today, but I froze 17 cupcakes to have when the granddaughters arrive from Southern California. A camping trip to the lake is planned and G-PA and I will go out in the afternoon and swim and stay for dinner. I'll be bring the rest of the cupcakes out to lake for dessert.
While the girls and I were at VBS last week. We had this delicious snack. Party Rainbow Chip cupcakes and
Funfetti Vanilla frosting...YUM!!!
Funfetti Vanilla frosting...YUM!!!
Cake mixes are so easy. Cake mix, water and eggs and BAKE. Easy is great in the summer when the temp outside is over 100 degrees. I just don't enjoy spending a lot of time in the kitchen when its hot.
'Funfetti' I love this word.
It just amazes me what the camera will see that I don't see. The Pillsbury dough boy in imprinted on top of the frosting can. I spotted him when I was cropping the photo. LOL
The cupcakes are delicious.
I wanted to make the frosting look more professional on the cupcakes today. But I just don't know how. While at Michael's Craft Store today I signed up for a cake decorating class and hopefully my decorating skills will improve. I'm busy in August with company and my new job that I decided to start in September when the weather is cooler and it will be more fun to work in the kitchen.
The 'Rudbeckia' is blooming profusely in the garden right now. I love the black-eyed Susan flowers. They are great for cutting and brighten the summer and autumn borders.
Please join the party.
Please link up just your cupcake post address. Not your blog address.
Thanks so much.
