This and That~Flowers for Everyone~

Hello, Everyone.
Everyday I'm Amazed at the beautiful work of nature.
I was outside with my camera, taking in the beauty and this is the result of nature.
Top photo are 'Coral Bells'

The top photo is 'Yesterday-Today-and-Tomorrow' each day the bloom changes color.
Purple ("yesterday"), Lavender ("today"), white ("tomorrow").
Bottom photo is a bloom from ' Dream Weaver' Rose

This is my Christmas Amaryllis~'Hippeastrum '
I planted it outside and was surprised when the blooms appeared last year.
This year it's doing well and I see another plant next to the first one.  Maybe I will have a group next year.
Blogging is a great way to journal the progress of my garden from one year to the next.

I moved some angels around the garden.
The top photo is early spring
and
the bottom photo is last week.

'Joseph Coat' rose climber is always a hit in my garden.
As the yellow buds expand, the color intensifies to orange; then, with exposure to sunlight, the petals flush with red, until the entire flower is crimson.
A real favorite!

Bearded Iris

The gazing ball is just for fun.
I found this small one at TM and decided it would nice in the birth bath.
Well, that is all for ' This and That'
An English Garden in Northern California. I'm so excited about landscaping my secret garden soon.
The water and electric has been hooked up next to one of the posts, and we are ready to
put the road base on the floor.  It's not easy to plant in the heat of summer, so I will be waiting awhile.
With summer activities with our family...September is only two months away.
Thank you for joining me @ My Cozy Corner.
I will be hopping over to party with a few gardening enthusiasts and others.

  4. Hello Betty,
Thank you for following me back! Your flowers are so pretty. Love the little gazing ball! Yes, we have lots in common, including, I used to live in Northern California for 17 years! I lived in Sacramento - miss it lots! I can hardly wait to look at all your travel photos and posts, especially the ones from England. I also love gardening. Had a large yard in CA but now I live in a townhouse and just have a small area (but a large patio!) So nice to meet you!

  7. You have such bright and cherry colours in your garden. Your Joseph rose remind me of a dear friend who had one; perhaps one will find its way into my garden.

  11. Beautiful garden and the rose that blooms from a yellow bud to bright crimson would be a winner for me, too. It must be fun to watch the process over and over all summer long.

  12. You have created a colourful garden. It's nice to see what blooms in California, an amaryllis in the garden would be delightful.

  14. To walk in the garden is now a pleasure. Every day something to discover. Joseph Coat roses are so beautiful. I have not seen that kind in Sweden. Delicious with golden orbs in the bird bath. I wish you a great week! Zinnia
