Hello everyone,
November the gratitude month is almost over. The leaves are falling and we had a little rain storm. I caught some sunlight in the garden under the pomegranate tree and the roses are giving me their last show of the season. Don Juan is just stunning and the blue bench is all dressed in her fall finery.
My vintage copper tea pot and copper mug.
A cozy warm throw and cozy pillows to snuggle in while watching the leaves turn beautiful burnt oranges and reds.
Nuts, whole cinnamon sticks and orange pomanders add to the sweet smell of fall...
The mums are fading fast.
The pumpkin and yellow mums add to my garden restful place.
I love the fall weather here in Northern California. We have such hot summers and fall is so refreshing. My church is having our annual bazaar on November 22nd and I am busy gathering my lavender bunches, sachets and bath salts together. I will be in charge of the " A Piece of Pie" we sell a slice of pie and coffee to visitors. My granddaughters are going to help me with serving and being the cashier.
That's all the news for today.
Hope you have a great day!
Joyously,
Betty

This is a beautiful post, Betty. Your yard looks so pretty with the dappled sunlight and all the pretty fall colors. I've never seen a pomegranate tree before; I've only seen pomegranates in the grocery store. :) Your throw and pillows look extra cozy -- I adore this time of the year.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I love that blue bench . It is a stunning backdrop to your flowers and accent to your yard. With the sunshine and the autumn décor, it looks like a perfect place to sip hot coco and read a book.
ReplyDeleteYou've created a beautiful display on, and around your bench. I can just imagine the scent of the clove-studded oranges while sitting there with a cup of tea, a cozy throw close at hand.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.
What a lovely scene you have created with your pretty bench. Here it would be covered in snow. Love the copper kettle and mug.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh.... can I join you on your beautiful bench for awhile? It looks so comfortable and inviting, Betty.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother had a pomegranate tree and it produced so many she didn't care if the grandchildren played with them. I would love to have a tree myself.
ReplyDeleteLove your orange pomanders. It's been a long time since I made any and they smell so nice and are pretty and festive too.
Enjoyed your autumn bench vignette. Looks so cozy and pleasant. Happy Thanksgiving
Enjoyed the tour through your garden.Would be nice to sit on the blue bench and enjoy the beauty.
ReplyDeleteMy dad and I used to put cloves in persimmons. Your November garden is fancy, unique and inspiring. Blog is so interesting.
