It's the Little Things that Matter #6

Hello everyone,
One bloom at a time. I planted some new
gladiolus bulbs this spring, but it will be
awhile before they bloom.
This gladiolus bulb was left in the ground
from last year and it's the only one that came up so far.
Since I turned three-quarters of a century old
I have been pondering the word ACCEPTANCE.
Acceptance is a word with many meanings.
So let's narrow it down to Self-Acceptance...
Life is a journey and a happy one as
long as I can accept change.
I watch change every day in nature. The
daylily blooms in the morning and by the end
of the day its life is over.
3 things I want to work on for the rest of my life.

One...I will try to nurture myself every day.
Two...Practice acceptance in my daily affairs.
Three...Live one day at a time.

Thank you for visiting.
I am so grateful for today.
Joyously,
Betty

  5. Hello Betty. A beautiful photo today. My blogger name is Daylily and if you visit you will find out why. My only sister was named Betty and died when she was 32 and I was 34 of breast cancer. Miss her so much. I always look for the name Betty. A beautiful photo of you. My sweet hubby and I have been married 56 years now and been gifted with a beautiful large family. Blessings to you.
