My Granddaughter's Tea Set

Hello Everyone,
Summer is in full swing at My Cozy Corner. I have been across the Pond. And in a few weeks my two granddaughters from Southern California will be spending a week in Northern California.  Of course all the girls are excited because they are very close in age and have a wonderful time when they get together.  In 2000. Granddaughter #3 was born in April and in August, granddaughter #4 was born.  2001 granddaughter #5 was born and 2003 granddaughter #6 was born.  I finally said: STOP THIS MADNESS~ As if I had anything to do with it. LOL
This is the Little Tea Set the girls would use to 'Take Tea' when they came to my house when they were  small.

When the girls are visiting we have Tea in grown up teacups.  I wanted to share this Little Tea Set with them while they are visiting. And hopfully they will remember the special times we had together when they were younger.

I'm so sorry I can't remember where I found this glass tea set.  My roommate on my trip looked all over England to find a small glass tea set that was made in England.  No Luck...

I had this tea towel in My Cozy Corner shop And now I'm enjoying it so much since I brought it home.
I love the applique on the vintage linen. And, it's nice to have a little pink for Pink Saturday.

The bouquet of roses is called 'Simplicity' and a few blossoms fell on the table. So soft.

Summer is so delightful for me.  The garden is in full glory and I love to look out and watch the changes everyday.

~Sweet - Sweet - Sweet~

I also have this darling table runner from my days in the thrift store business.
The Tea Pot is just perfect for today's post.

A cup and saucer and a dessert plate too.

The girls didn't drink tea as small children. The game was that  I would put water in the pot and fill the sugar bowl with sugar cubes and it was game on!!

Sweet pink flowers on the tiny cups.

I put my demi spoons on the table to keep the proportion harmonious.

  9. You are so lucky to have granddaughters! I have a tea set all ready for the first girl born to the family - but we'll have to have tea at Nana's once before she takes it home.
