Happy Monday morning to everyone,
We are busy putting our living room and master bedroom back together after the carpet was installed on Thursday. Now we are waiting for our bedroom furniture to arrive on Tuesday. Only the chest of drawers and two night stands will be delivered tomorrow. The bed will be delivered around the 26th of May. In the meantime we have been sleeping in our covered patio in our old King size bed.It has been wonderful. I just love to sleep outside. If you would like to see my new bedroom furniture

Now on to my new Summer Wreath above.

Now on to my new Summer Wreath above.
I found the pink tulip wreath at Tuesday morning after Easter for 50% off $20.00 dollars.
Very nice wreath for $10.00 dollars.

The most fun I have is transforming one wreath from season to season. But my pink wreath is only going to see Spring and Summer. The wreath below was my fall wreath with the letter Y painted black.
I painted my Y one shade of Chartreuse and the ribbon is another color of Chartreuse.
HISTORY LESSON:
Chartreuse (US /ʃɑrˈtruːz/, /ʃɑrˈtruːs/ or RP /ʃɑːˈtrɜːz/;[1] French pronunciation: [ʃaʁtʁœz]) (the web color) is a color halfway between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764. Similarly, chartreuse yellow is a yellow color mixed with a small amount of green that was named because of its resemblance to the color of one of the French liqueurs called yellow chartreuse, introduced in 1838

ReplyDeleteVery creative when you can have a wreath cover four seasons. The pink lily wreath is pretty and I'm sure you receive many compliments on it.
