1990 was our last remodel. In the past three years we have updated the living room, master bedroom
and kitchen-dining room. I want to share our kitchen update soon.
But today it's all about the living room in the Winter.
We spend most of daily living in our living room We have a large television and two
nice big recliners to sit comfortably across from the fireplace.

I have a blend of elements that make our room feel cozy and inviting.
Brass lamps, wood paneling and things that bring back fond memories.
Candle and Yuletide Camellias make
a colorful vignette on my coffee table.
I have a real fir tree in a little red pot and a
vase filled with silver tipped pine cones
and glass mercury bird on top. And my favorite thing is my
new COZY pillow I received as a gift for Christmas.

Betty, I love the warmth and character of your home. We adore the wood and leather look too, contrary to the world painting everything white or French Grey...lol! Would you share this lovely post with us at Five Star Frou-Frou at A Tray of Bliss? We go live on Fridays. Love, Mimi xxx
ReplyDeleteI just want to curl up on that couch, by the fire, with my cup of tea and a good novel and chill. Looks so inviting. I bet it is hard to leave that room. First time visitor here from Katherine's Corner and thanking you for hosting the party along with your other co-hosts. I'll be back to visit again.
ReplyDeleteWHat a splendid place to curl up and enjoy a cup of coffee or take a much needed nap. Love it!

ReplyDeleteI love your cozy room! I have a similar red brick fireplace in my family room that I adore. I ahd a fire going last night as we watched the Superbowl.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a cozy place with a real fireplace to entertain or sit quietly with a good book.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, cozy space!
ReplyDeleteIt does look so warm and comfy. I love your bird pillow and the pinecones and natural elements you use in your decor. Enjoy your week! Hugs, Diane
