12 th Cupcake Sunday

Welcome to the 12th and final Cupcake Sunday.
at My Cozy Corner
I can't believe I have posted Cupcake Sunday 12 months...
Is there something called Blogging Time?
This year is going way too fast and I will not be posting Cupcake Sunday for awhile.
I have enjoyed posting a once a month party and I'm going to be taking a cake decorating class next month to find more inspiration on decorating cupcakes.  But I need less structure to my schedule.  In July I started to work part-time to save for another fabulous vacation.  I love to blog at my own speed and I don't want to stop baking cupcakes. I bake cupcakes once a month because I give the cupcakes  to my church coffee hour.  The granddaughters love to help bake them and of course my Sweetheart loves to eat them after the photo shoot.LOL

Now to get on with the show.

The Autumn air is so wonderful and my ONE SUNFLOWER plant  is still blooming.
I would like to share my Autumn inspiration with you.

Apple-Nut Spice Cupcakes with Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting
Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix
Substitute Water with 11/2 cups pumpkin
Substitute vegetable with 1/2 cup honey
add
1 cup grated apples
and
1/2 cup walnuts

Wonderful Sunflowers

Fresh Apples

Rustic handmade cupcake papers.  Cut 5 inch squares from parchment paper to have a simple and inexpensive cupcake paper.  Spray the cupcake pan before inserting the papers.  It helps the paper stick to the cupcake tins.

I used an Open Star - 1M Swirl Decorating Tip

My joy~making a mosaic for Mosaic Monday

The patio is a great place to photograph.  It's also very rustic too...

I love to use my red cupcake holder my granddaughters gave me as a Christmas gift 2010.

Nothing says Autumn like a red check tablecloth!

Thank you so much for joining me for 12 wonderful Cupcake Sundays.

I would like to share my cupcakes with

11th Cupcake Sunday

Hello everyone,
Welcome to Cupcake Sunday at My Cozy Corner.
Please Come to the Party

Bake and Take Cupcake Kit

I get so excited when I find something so cute I can't wait to show you.
I was at World Market and I found this adorable cupcake kit.

The Bake and Take Cupcake Kit
Includes chocolate cupcake mix, vanilla frosting mix, pink pearlized nonpareils, 8 cupcake aprons, 8 decorative picks and gift card.
The box becomes an adorable carrier for the cupcakes. Wow!!!

After I personalize my gift card and insert  the corners of the card into the slits on top of the cupcake carrier I think  I'll walk the box of cupcakes up the street to my granddaughters house and we can have a tea party.  Sounds fun!

I can't resist pink... Pink Saturday you know!
Tournament of Roses, Dream Weaver and Simplicity are the roses in my pink tea pot.
I added a little asparagus fern for greenery.

I bought a Wilton Student Kit 'Decorating Basics' and in the kit was a Wilton 1M tip.
1M Swirl was a quick way to decorate the cupcakes.
Every month I see an improvement in my cupcake decorating.

I added the nonpareils with scrap booking tweezers.
I picked up one nonpareil at one at a time and placed them in a decorative pattern.

When I arrive at my destination, I will insert the picks into the center of the cupcakes.

I love the cupcake aprons.  I love to make my own cupcake aprons from scrap book paper or thin card stock.
 Cute~Cute~Cute

10th Cupcake Sunday

Hello Everyone,

It's Party Time with Cupcake Sunday

At My Cozy Corner

The cousins are coming and it's going to be a party.  I baked 24 cupcakes today, but I froze 17 cupcakes to have when the granddaughters arrive from Southern California.  A camping trip to the lake is planned and G-PA and I will go out in the afternoon and swim and stay for dinner. I'll be bring the rest of the cupcakes out to lake for dessert.

While the girls and I were at VBS last week.  We had this delicious snack.  Party Rainbow Chip cupcakes and
Funfetti Vanilla frosting...YUM!!!

Cake mixes are so easy.  Cake mix, water and eggs and BAKE.  Easy is great in the summer when the temp outside is over 100 degrees.  I just don't enjoy spending a lot of time in the kitchen when its hot.

'Funfetti'  I love this word.

It just amazes me what the camera will see that I don't see.  The Pillsbury dough boy in imprinted on top of the frosting can. I spotted him when I was cropping the photo. LOL

The cupcakes are delicious.

I wanted to make the frosting look more professional  on the cupcakes today.  But I just don't know how.  While at Michael's Craft Store today I signed up for a cake decorating class and hopefully my decorating skills will improve.  I'm busy in August with company and my new job that I decided to start in September when the weather is cooler and it will be more fun to work in the kitchen.

The 'Rudbeckia' is blooming profusely in the garden right now.  I love the black-eyed Susan flowers.  They  are great for cutting and brighten the summer and autumn borders.

Thank you for visiting My Cozy Corner.
Please join the party.
