Grateful Teatime

Hello everyone,
I just finished watching the World Series game and
decided to start typing my 'Grateful Teatime' for this
week's post.
It has been raining on and off for days, here in
Northern California. The rain is good, but I would
love to be outside putting my garden to bed for the
winter.
As you might know, I am doing tea time calendars
for Christmas gifts. This teatime is for the
month of October.
While decorating the patio for our Thanksgiving family
gathering I set this tea on the patio table.
The mums in the copper cup are from my garden.
The copper teapot was a gift from my son many
years ago.  I love the beautiful pumpkins~large and small.
The center pear teacup and saucer are Taylor Kent*England
The teacup and saucer on the left are Royal Albert Pears. The teacup
and saucer on the right are Golden Crown E & R England
Antique Fruit Series.
I set a brown and white throw on the table and added my new
tea towel I bought on my vacation to our son's wedding last month.
The patio is all decked out for the Thanksgiving holiday.
When the weather is in the 60's we turn on our heater
and watch football on the big television sitting in the corner.
I made pillow covers and added a different top to the swing.
The complete patio tour is coming up soon.
I love copper anytime of the year. But in the fall
it just goes together like bread and butter.
Pin a Mosaic.
Thank you for visiting.
I will be back soon to share
more of my patio.
Joyously,
Betty

  3. I love the idea of making calendars for Christmas gifts. Would you be willing to share how you are making them? I host a ladies Bible study in my home and would love to do this with monthly illustrations from lessons we have studied throughout the year. Always love reading your posts and seeing your beautiful displays... I am always inspired.

    1. Hi Joyce,
I start my calendar project on shutterfly.com and every month I photograph a teatime and use it on new calendar. I use the 12x12 for my calendars. I am thinking of printing a smaller one too. shutterfly has many templates choose from for calendars, Christmas cards and photo books. Thanks for visiting My Cozy Corner. 4. Betty, what a lovely autumn tea setting. I love your pear pieces. We recently visited California -- northern -- and just loved it. Blogged about our lovely stay in Napa. Can't wait to go back!
