Spring Pink and Gold


@ Delightsome Life

Victorian romance is what I envisioned when I was placing my treasures on this
Tabletop vignette.


A Glittering Gold chain and a Gold heart from my Sweetheart one Anniversary long ago.


Another Gold heart with the words "With Love" engraved on the back.


A delicate vintage handkerchief I found at a yard sale.


Is the Pink Camellia almost Perfect?  Floating in a vintage tea cup..


My wonderful Pink tea pot with a decorative Gold Tassel to add some flair~


This Pink Camellia has a simple flower with a soft and tender appeal.



My evening purse and gloves from long ago.  Remember when gloves were so in fashion!




My treasured Lenox vase I found at a yard sale.

    Betty, I'm visiting from Kathy's Celebrate Spring. Your spring pictures are so pretty and vibrant and bright. I love to see old things that are passed down, saved and collected. Very nice tribute to Spring.

    Hi Betty! I've visited before, and am making the rounds of Kathy's Celebrate Spring participants. I think your vignette is exquisite! Those camellias are breathtaking, and the dainty hankie is so sweet. I can remember white gloves, but I think they went out of fashion when I was still fairly young. Your teacup, saucer, and plate are very pretty as well. Lovely, all! Bess

    This reminds me of the beauty in the movie, The Age of Innocence, where they focus on the details of the time, on flowers, on accessories, on artwork - simply delightful to the eye.
