Tea Time and Photo Shoot!

Hello Everyone!
The girls and I have been busy this week.  We have been at VBS every morning from 9 to noon.
And yesterday we decided to have Tea in the Garden and a Photo Shoot~
What a great time we had.  The girls are 11 and 9 years old.

The girls and I went to a thrift shop on Tuesday and my 9 year old granddaughter spotted the Johnson Brother tea cups and saucers for a thrifty price of $3.00 for 12 pieces.  I just about jumped out of my skin and I hugged her all day long... I think I have a shopper!

This darling tea pot was a gift from these two girls on Mother's Day 2010.
I love the pink for Pink Saturday.

About a month ago the girls and I made the sugar cookie dough, but we didn't bake them until yesterday.
I had frozen the dough  so yesterday I had it just firm enough to bake 8 cookies for Tea Time in the Garden.

It's 'Lavender Time' at My Cozy Corner.  Last week I harvested my lavender plants and I wanted to capture a photo of the beautiful buds in a close-up.

Speaking of Close-Up~ How about this one?

And this one too.

I'm so blessed to have the privilege to have the girls visit this week.
We have an awesome time.  Shopping, Photographs and VBS.

I hope they had as much fun at Tea Time as I did.

I made a 5X7 photo of this mosaic for myself.  The memories of this week will never be forgotten.

What beauty you have shared today. I love the photos of your grand daughters, and how priceless to have a tea party. Love the tea set, and yes what a find for the price. Cookie dough made up just waiting to be made into some yumminess. LOVE it.

Your mosaic is gorgeous. Love their faces. Aren't those braces just precious? We have a grand daughter wearing them as well. She loves that she can change the band colors each appointment. FUN, FUN for the kids.
