My NEW~Old Car

Hello everyone,
Wow!!! I've been on a ride this past week.
Sweetheart and I have been looking for a
Classic car for about four months.
Last Tuesday we found our dream car.
Every year we have an event in our city called.
"Kool April Nites"
It's a very popular car show with a week's worth
of  'Show and Shine' events.
On Friday night is the cruise and
we drove our NEW old car for about two hours
around and around and around.
Just like the olden days...1959 ~ 1960.
On Saturday is the day long car show.
We had beautiful weather in the 70's and
we walked for four hours looking at
Classic Cars. We stopped for lunch
and drank lots of water.
I wanted to use my new IPhone camera and
I was very pleased with the photos.
While I was walking around I wanted to take
photos of cars similar to ours.
There are some real beauties.
I don't know what plans Sweetheart has about
driving our car on a trip. He has some little things
he would like to do to it before we take it
to far from home.
A new toy for G'pa and G'ma too.
Thanks for visiting.

  1. Love your car, it's beautiful. It will give you so much pleasure driving around in that spiffy car.

  2. LOVE your new/old car! I have a huge thing for classic or antique cars, thanks to my Daddy-O. He's restoring a '48 Chevy truck. He has always been a member of the antique car club, and we used to love going to meetings with him, then hanging out with his car buddies at a drive-in and eating ice cream. I guess that's where my obsession started! Lol! I could've spent the whole day looking at all of those beauties, and I LOVE your pictures! Thanks for sharing on Favorite Things!!

  3. Those type of local shows are the perfect place to buy classic cars. Not only do you know the owner is taking exceptional care of the vehicle, they most likely are well known among the group. All you need do is ask around for references to see the seller is a great person and you are getting a killer deal.
