April Garden Journal

Hello everyone,
It's Sunday evening and Sweetheart and I are
relaxing while watching television.
I love to blog on my laptop at the same time
as I watch television. I blog awhile and then
play a game of Candy Crush...I'm addicted.
The garden is in full swing. I will outside
everyday this week getting our garden and
patio ready for this weekend. We are having our
children and granddaughters here for
our city's annual car show.
Now to the April Garden Journal
'Don Juan'
is showing off this year.

We've had more rain this year and the
artichokes are big and fat and ready to eat.
The day after I took this photo the artichokes were
so top heavy I found the all the artichokes face down on
ground. I decided it was time to pick them for dinner.
They were tender and delicious.
Madonna
I have two 'Joseph's Coat' climbers.
My favorite Iris.
I will be cleaning the dandelions out of my iris bed this week.
My Saint
We are now in the Secret Garden.
I love the mini rose climber with
the happy blue Delphinium.
'Candy Cane' rose climber.

'Ingrid Bergman'
The day lilies will be blooming in a few weeks.
